Wonderful atmosphere, they have non pork options, breakfast all day, I had a burrito with eggs added, it was wonderful and fresh, also had the spicy hot chocolate, it was good left a nice sting behind. Lastly I had a lavender latte it was also great. Looking forward to going back and trying the breakfast tacos for my self.

quick update to my review, came back the next day and sat down for breakfast outside. absolutely amazing second visit, had the breakfast torta with pork carnitas and it was incredible! also tried the mexican hot chocolate and the atole and both were delicious! did curbside pickup today and snagged an absolutely delicious breakfast burrito! the order process was easy online, drove up and parked and they quickly checked in with me and brought my burrito out moments later! as far as the burrito goes, top notch quality! i got braised beef and eggs and it was packed with flavor, the meat was tender, and the burrito was huge! 100% will be back for some more and to try the rest of the menu items!

What a lovely, welcoming space! We came here for Hot Chocolate and a quick bite before heading to the Northrup King Building for Art Attack, and found ourselves embraced by the warmth and connection of Vivir, remaining for longer than expected to talk, sip our cocoa, and enjoy some delicious and generous nachos! I would definitely stop by Vivir and give the Mexican Hot Chocolate a try, maybe grab a snack, and peruse the goods near the entrance. Worth a visit, by yourself or with good friends

the breakfast burrito is sooooo good!! usually meatless breakfast burritos feel like they’re missing something but this was so perfect the way it was. i tried a bite of my friend’s cemita and that was delish too, and the brown sugar latte was the perfect amount of sweetness as well. will definitely be coming back to try everything else on their menu!

This was such a fun place to visit. I have so much to share about it! The atmosphere was comfortable and fun. I'll get to the food shortly lol. I Loved the decor! There is a hot sauce wall. You can purchase just about anything you can imagine in hot sauce! They also sell mortar and pestle, beautiful stoneware, bags, candles, earrings, coffee mugs, cards, and so much more. This is a great spot to find interesting and unique gifts (for others or for yourself). Then they have this beautiful room in the back called Escondido (meaning hidden)! Check out the website for more info. The staff were friendly and genuine. And....the food! I had the Chicken Tinga taco and the barbacoa taco- both were so fresh and the meat so juicy We also had chips (fresh and warm) and a trio of sauces (all were great but the tomatillo based one was my fav ), and yuca fries- my first time having them and they were very good! I will definitely be going back to try the sweet side: cakes (tres Leche), sweet empanadas, cookies, and so much more. If you haven't tried Centro/Vivir - hurry up and go! It is an event

TL;DR. Perfect menu size with delicious meat or vegan options. Baked goods were stellar. Tasty drinks menu w/ a mezcal specialty. Fantastic service. Highly recommend. ViV!R is a small Mexican bakery and cafe with a full-service kitchen and bar, as well. It's located in a gorgeous walkable area of Northeast right next to Indeed and sharing space with it's sister-restaurant, Centro. When we went we tried the Duck Carnitas Tacos, the Avocado Tostada, and the Verduras. The tostada is vegan and not my normal faire, but it was super hot outside and I found it really refreshing in addition to just down-right tasty. The duck was delicious as well, but be prepared, it is greasy (as duck tends to be). The Verduras were roasted carrots in an anise sauce. I thought the carrots were good, but I'm not a fan of anise, so it's hard for me to judge that. For drinks we tried the Morelos Sour, the Rose Sangria, the Coconut (Mezcal) Marg, and the Classic (Tequila) Marg. The Morelos Sour was sweet, salty, and spicy, and was absolutely my favorite. The two Margs were solid, and if you're into Mezcal, they are specialists here. Unfortunately, the Rose Sangria was a total miss, but 3/4 is good. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun. They play catchy toons and the kitchen is open so you can see the magic happen. They also have a really fun gift shop where we bought a few stickers. Service is top notch! Very friendly, attentive, and willing to answer any questions or provide suggestions. The area this restaurant in is unbeatable. It's in an old warehouse district but has greenery and is tucked in nicely right next to Indeed, which is a great stop afterwards. 10/10
